    Our Remote Volunteer Corps is 80 people strong. The next training for volunteers will be in the spring of 2022. No applications are accepted at this time.

    SI ID BADGE RENEWALS: At this time all Associates' volunteer badge renewals will be submitted to OPS when volunteers complete the in-person training to return to the Ripley Center. This may not be until the spring of 2022. You do not need a renewed badge until then. You may use your expired badge to enter non SI museums, but recommend that you not use your expired badge to enter SI museums, because the security officers will confiscate it.
